Viveca Averstedt and the Averstedt Nitro Racing Team! Our team recently moved Averstedt Racing Headquarters from Stockholm, Sweden to Orlando, Florida to actively compete in the ultimate acceleration competition -- NHRA's POWERade Drag Racing Series. Following in the tradition of my renowned Viking ancestor, Leif Eriksson, our team set a course across the sea to conquer the challenges and reap the rewards that this new world can hold for us. With legendary performance records and victories in Europe, my husband/crew chief, Håkan and I left friends and family behind in Stockholm in search of new conquests: to follow our dream of racing (and winning!) in America and to develop a new business unit in drag racing. Averstedt Nitro Racing brings our Top Fuel know how, experience and will to win to another drag racing class and will debut our new A/Fuel dragster in 2002. We look forward to seeing you at the track! |
